Scotching rumours of her return to BJP, Bhartiya Janshakti Party chief Uma Bharti on Sunday said she prefers BSP supremo Mayawati as Prime Minister of the country over her former mentor L K Advani."If the need arises, I will support Mayawati rather than L K Advani or Rahul Gandhi for the post of Prime Minister," she said.Bharti said she would be the happiest person if a Dalit woman becomes Prime Minister with her support. The former BJP leader, however, said the possibility of BSP leader occupying the post would be tough as the party would require about 70 Lok Sabha seats to stake the claim. In Madhya Pradesh Assembly polls, Bhartiya Janshakti Party and BSP will make dent in the traditional vote bank of Congress, she claimed. "In some areas we are strong while in some BSP may gain," she said.Bharti said though BSP managed to win the elections in Uttar Pradesh, but it would be difficult to replicate similar performance in forthcoming assembly elections in MP, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh."The issue in Uttar Pradesh was of increasing crime, so people voted against Samajwadi Party, BJP and Congress. But here (in Madhya Pradesh) the issue is corruption and Mayawati is no different. Besides, the core vote bank of BSP – Jatavs - is limited to just three divisions - Reeva, Gwalior and Sagar," she said.Bharti also denied reports of her return to BJP. "We are so much against each other that the question of going back does not arise at all," she said.Refuting media reports of her party on an alliance with Samajwadi Party, Bharti said, "Their policies are so pro-Muslim that I would prefer going to Himalayas rather than having an alliance with them."Bharti also criticised the BJP for allegedly offering the Prime Ministership to SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav. The former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister said she wondered how Advani could offer the post of Prime Minister to Yadav who wants to revoke the ban on SIMI which is involved in terror activities."I don't put my country at stake for short-term goals. Advani needs to learn this from me," she said.Bharti is banking on her "self-made theory" that whenever two parties from same school of thought emerged in the country, Congress is always the ‘loser’."You can see in Tamil Nadu where AIADMK and DMK finished Congress. Kanshi Ram and Mulayam Singh Yadav are also products of a similar school of thought and in Bihar, Nitish Kumar and Lalu Prasad have finished Congress," she said.
