IAS officer goes missing from Alwar

An IAS officer,who was on his way to Jaipur with his family went missing,police said.

An IAS officer,who was on his way to Jaipur with his family and halted at a restaurant here for breakfast,went missing today,police said.

Naveen Jain,a 2001 batch IAS officer,was posted as commissioner in Rajasthan’s settlement department in Jaipur.

Jain was on his way to Jaipur with his wife and son in a vehicle and halted at the restaurant for breakfast,police said.

“Jain came here with his family and later disappeared while his family and vehicle were left behind at a restaurant at Jaipur-Delhi national highway,” Superintendent of Police Mahesh Goyal said.

His whereabouts are not known yet and efforts are on to trace him,he said.

A missing complaint has been lodged with Shahjahapur police station and the matter is being probed,police said.
