Idea launches 1 paisa per sec plan

    IDEA Cellular has introduced an ‘affordable’ tariff plan allowing its subscribers to pay per second for calls. Idea subscribers in Maharashtra and Goa availing this plan can make all local and STD calls to any Idea mobile anywhere in India at the lowest tariff of 1 paisa per second.

    Local and STD calls to any other networks will be charged at 1.20 paise per second. To avail the per second plan, Idea subscribers can purchase a special voucher for Rs.64, whereas new subscribers can get it for Rs.69. This tariff will be valid for one year.

    Idea had earlier introduced a plan offering all local & STD calls at 50 paise per minute and SMS at 50 paise per SMS in Maharashtra and Goa.
