  • Ludhiana police on Sunday evening arrested one more person in connection with IELTS exam racket. One Vishal Mehta, owner of Planet Education in Gurgaon, was arrested on Sunday from Gurgaon. Today he was presented before the court of Kapil Sharma, which sent him in police remand till October 28.

It needs to be mentioned that in July, three students, who had come to appear in IELTS exam by impersonating for other students, were arrested from a local hotel. That led to unearthing of a racket and arrest of some more students, including a few girls. Vishal was arrested on the basis of information provided by the arrested students.

The police believe interrogation of Vishal would help in unravelling the racket further.
