IIMA’s biz summit to host Vinod Rai,C Rangarajan

The Indian Institute of Management,Ahmedabad (IIMA) is all set to play host to two of India’s most visible icons. As part of Confluence 2013,IIMA’s annual International Business Summit to be held between November 29 and December 1,the institute will be visited by Vinod Rai,former Comptroller and Auditor General of India and C Rangarajan,Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Economic Advisory Council and former Governor of the Reserve Bank of India.

The duo are slated to speak at the session titled “The Global Turmoil and India Story”,which attempts to reflect upon the turbulent times that have beset the country and the resulting uncertainty in corporate decision making,at IIMA.

“We feel that it is vitally important to be able to understand global cues,foster innovative ideas,and take quick high-stake decisions. In such situations,a visionary leader,with a wealth of experience under his/her belt,can inspire and rally his/her people successfully through these turbulent times,” said Rizwan Ali,event secretary for Confluence 2013.
