  • The four-day Summer Placement for the Post Graduate Program – Agri-Business Management (PGP-ABM) at IIM-Ahmedabad concluded on Friday, with all the students getting placed for two-month internship in April and May 2010. According to an official release, 40 per cent of the internships are in the sales and marketing realm, and companies involved in the agri-input sector took the most interns.

“The process saw corporates responding well to the spurt in the economy by actively engaging themselves in the placement process,” said the release.

Apart from regular recruiters like ITC, Britannia, Mahindra & Mahindra, Godrej Agrovet and TATA Rallis, the students were also offered internship roles by Rabo Bank, NCDEX, TetraPak and IFMR Trust among others.
