Positive attitude to lifeBy: Dr B Sundara | 07-Nov-2009 Reply | Forward At 18 the student finds life is meaningless. What a tragedy. Who made his life meaningless? His parents or the his environment? There is a need in the society to counsel youngsters. This must be attended to in the metriculation level or a bit earlier in the schools. There is increasing suicides by the students due to extreme presuure to perform. The pressure comes from the parents, teachers, other students and the coaching centres as has been reported. The youngsters must be councelled to view life with positive attitude. The responsibility lies with the parents and the teachers.Emphasis on mental progress has to be given. Besides education in the schools and colleges, exposure to meditation, yoga, attitude to life etc need to be taught may by social/religious institutions and organizations. Inculcating positive attitude towards life is important.
