Ready to meet some of Reddy brothers demands: Yeddyurappa

    Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa on Friday said he is ready to accept some of the demands of the dissident Reddy brothers and asserted he has been assured by the leadership that he would continue in the post.

    "Yesterday I took the decision in accordance with the interests of the Reddy brothers that Balighar (Principal Secretary to the CM) be shifted. That I have accepted and regarding the other demands also I have told our leaders that I am ready to accept other things also," he told reporters.

    He was replying to a question whether he would sack Rural Development Minister Shoba Karandlaje, whose removal has been demanded by the Reddy brothers.

    Yeddyurappa said he was a disciplined soldier of the party and he has met all the national leaders who have "expressed confidence in me and told me to continue to focus on my regular work."

    He said he would work according to the guidelines of the national leadership. He said he would go to Bangalore and continue the relief work.

    Asked about the sudden departure of Tourism Minister G Janardhana Reddy for Hyderabad from here, the Chief Minister he had no no knowledge about it and he would not not discuss it.

    Right to recall.By: Satisha | 07-Nov-2009 Reply | Forward Right to recall. Amend in the constitution to recall the elected leaders / electees by the voters or electors. Every year there should be a review voting in each constituency for a period of one week, for the people, to give their opinion and views on the satisfaction of the performance by their elected representatives, whether they are satisfied, not satisfied, need to improve and give time or recall immediately. Then only all such problems in our political system will not happen. Corruption based review must be included including bureaucrats. Dictating and becoming powerful to take people for granted by politicians and bureaucrats will stop with this.

People will never ever believe in politicians anymore and they are waste and national burden as they are slow poison to this country and people. Do they have any manners? They could have settled their differences within the party circle without dogfighting publicly. What a shame! Believe me, we don't need politicians. Need to ban all parties and change the system. Millions are dying, but politicians are playing games as if nothing is happening. Are they demons? Let them search their soul & conscience. Looting this country apart, they engage in playing politics as if they are not elected to represent the people. We are fools. Our hearts bleed. They are suicidal lots in this country. Publish all these messages in Newspapers and TVs.

    CM should goBy: khan | 07-Nov-2009 Reply | Forward The CM is a CM for the state and hence he should work for the betterment of all the people in the state. But he did not do anything like that instead he showed bias towards his own party people RIGHT FROM DAY ONE. He does not deserve to be a CM anymore. HE SHOULD GO. Let real people get elected and serve the state and the country properly ethically professionally.
