In Allahabad,medicos follow lawyers,students

After lawyers and students,medical associations of Allahabad also joined the stir in support of Anna Hazare.

After lawyers and students,medical associations of Allahabad also joined the stir in support of Anna Hazare here today. High court lawyers staged a silent march during the day.

Members of the the Indian Medical Association (IMA),Indian Dental Association,Allahabad Medical Association,Nursing Homes Welfare Association,Ayush Medical Association,nd Unani Medicine Practitioners Association and other bodies participated in the protest.

B B Agarwal,president of the action committee of the IMA,said that every day a team of five doctors would sit on an indefinite relay hunger strike till the time Hazare continued his fast.

A large number of high court lawyers marched from the Allahabad HC to Subhash Chauraha and burned the effigy of the government.

A local group of farmers of Bharatiya Kisan Union joined the protest at Subhash Chauraha. District president of BKU,Harihar Singh Yadav,said that they had come to support the movement on their own.

Students from the Fine Arts Department of Allahabad University painted posters and banners on the spot which would be sent to Anna Hazare.

Throughout the city,teams of youngsters on motorcycles distributed pamphlets and shouted slogans in support of Hazare.

Many groups of youngsters also wore black head bands and arm bands to mark the protest.
