India Inc raises voice against Rs 30,000 cr counterfeit trade

  • Speaking to The Indian Express, Assocham president Anil K. Aggarwal said, “We are submitting this study to the ministry of consumers affairs over the next seven-eight days. As a matter of fact the ministry had asked us to conduct this study.” As one of the suggestions, he said: “There is need to set up an independent authority with wide range of powers to initiate suo motto action to protect consumers.”
