    The RSS said on Tuesday that Hindutva is the "identity" of the country and asked the people to be proud of it.

    "Our identity is Hindutva and the people should be proud of it. The society should work for removal of evils and the welfare of the country," RSS chief Mohan Rao Bhagwat said while addressing volunteers at a gathering in Jaipur. "India is a Hindu nation, which is an eternal fact," he claimed.

    Bhagwat said shaping the present "modern" society along the lines of traditional Hindu culture and traditions will be the ideal route to social welfare.

    He said the RSS wants to make people "responsible, and dedicated" towards the nation, which, according to him, was above all.

    "Creating a well-cultured society is our aim and not contesting elections or winning seats," Bhagwat said.

    During the discourse, the RSS chief said the poll season has come and there will be plenty of assurances from candidates to seek votes, but, after winning elections, they will appear only before the next polls. He met Kanchi Peeth Shankracharya Jayendra Saraswati in Jaipur on Monday when he visited the city.

    Hindu sthanBy: ajay chandravanshi | 10-Dec-2009 Reply | Forward Hindustan has no need to says that it is a place of hindu because hindu is showing in its name,root,rivers,hils,culturs,trees,land and sky so everything is hidus than why we need declaration...we just need to find out our enemy in india and root out them forever...it does not matter that it hindu or muslim.... And i have great repect for RSS if i get any chance to do any thing for nation i will always with RSS... jai hind (ajay RSS)

They are ignorant, One thing they don't understand that rss does not preach violence or hatred against any other person or organization.RSS simply teaches patriotism,We Hindues if you don't want to repeat the history of Gazni ,Gauri orBabar then we all have to unite together under strong leadership of RSS. Else Be ready because gazni is quite strong in Pakistan, Ask your reatives and friends to join RSS.

Since majority and also the original pre historic civilization is Hinduism, we want India to be declared officialy as a Hindu nation. That does not mean we are disrespecting the minorities. Even after India becoming a hindu nation all the religions will have their fundamental and constitutional rights as before. Only that the majority will get justice in their own land. And no activity related to hinduism will be termed safronization.
