Mukherjee has said that India would shortly reply to Pakistan’s queries on the 26/11 dossier.

India on Monday said it will ‘shortly’ reply to the queries raised by Pakistan on the dossier it had given on the Mumbai terror attacks.

"We are sending them, as I mentioned to you earlier, shortly," External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee told reporters when asked about India's reply to queries raised by Pakistan investigators on the Indian dossier.

Mukherjee said he was in touch with the Home Ministry on the issue.

In February, Pakistan had given Indian authorities their response to the Indian dossier on the Mumbai attacks and sought some more information on them to aid the investigators in probing the incident.

Pakistan had formally filed charges against nine suspects linked to the Mumbai incident and acknowledged for the first time that part of the conspiracy behind the attacks was hatched within the country.

It has said six of the suspects are in the custody of authorities while two others are still at large though they have been identified.

not worrying about safety and security of the countryBy: RAJESH | 09-Mar-2009 Reply | Forward One of the maddening realities of modern India is that the pseudo secular politicians and Marxists are not worrying about safety and security of the country. They are worrying about appeasement and special privileges for Muslims. The greatest threat is from the selfish opportunism from politicians who are ideologically inclined toward appeasement and surrender. They invariably dismiss or underestimate the Islamic terrorist threat, as well as Pakistan involvement. Rather than confronting Jihadi terrorists, they prefer appeasement and unconditional positive regard and non-judgmental attitude towards Pakistan trained Jihadi terrorists. This special treatment for Muslims has forced Hindus to face pure Jihadi wickedness in a way we had not in generations.
