  • An Indian student has been reported missing in Melbourne for the last six days, raising fears for his safety.

Twentytwo-year-old Dipak Kumar Chaudhari was last seen heading towards Crown Casino between 5.20 am and 6.30 am last Thursday, police said today.

His housemates reported him missing over the weekend.

Police and housemates, in Glen Iris, have been unable to contact Chaudhari as his mobile diverts immediately to voicemail, suggesting a dead battery or the phone being turned off.

Police have been told that his disappearance was out of character and sought help from people with any information on him.

HopeBy: Harish - Australia | 11-Nov-2009 Reply | Forward As a parent, I can imagine his parents and loved ones anguish. I pray that he is found safely and am sure the entire the Australian Indian community and other Indian student would wish is the same.
