  • To check the crumbling infrastructure in the Millennium City, the stakeholders launched the Real Estate Development-Council (REDCO), Haryana, on Monday.

Addressing the media, Arun Anand, president of the organisation, said, their mission was to build Gurgaon as a brand. “Every developer has paid his share of external development charges (EDC) to the tune of Rs 3,000 crore to the state bodies in order to ensure proper infrastructure like roads, water, power, and sewage are provided to the consumers. It is time that we understand where all the money is going,” Anand said.

The mission of REDCO-Haryana is to bring Gurgaon in the list of the top 10 cities of the world in the next 10 years.

The basic principal is to avoid lengthy trails. However, the modalities have to be worked out. Also, a communication plan between the consumer and the developers has to be built so that it can we can also have self regulation,” Sunil Dahiya, MD, Vigneshwara Developers, said.
