Merely a week after the Pakistan set a world record of thousands of people singing the national anthem simultaneously, the INLD in Haryana on Sunday claimed it will break the record during its rally in Rewari on November 1.
In a statement, INLD MLA Dr Ajay Singh Chautala said over two lakh people will sing the national anthem simultaneously and make a new world record on the occasion of Haryana Diwas.
"Before Pakistan, the record was held by India. Earlier this year, 15,243 people sang the national anthem simultaneously. However, on October 20, Pakistan broke India's record by making 70,000 people sing the national anthem simultaneously in Lahore," he said.
Several leaders and former Army chief General V K Singh will share the stage with INLD leaders in Rewari on November 1.
