It was the meeting point of the elite and the intellectual at The Rooftop,Trident,on Monday evening,when well-known faces from all walks of life got together for the launch of Nandan Nilekani’s debut book,Imagining India. Nilekani was accompanied by his wife Rohini who was ecstatic about her husband’s newfound passion.

The evening was hosted by Devendra Bharma,executive vice president,Oberoi Hotels and Resorts,Mumbai,and Mike Bryan,CEO,Penguin India. Among the attendees Ajit Gulabchand who got his book autographed and Tavleen Singh were the first to arrive. Praveena and Jamal Mecklai were seen chatting with Rashmi Uday Singh. Vikram and Tasneem Mehta took an active part in the post-launch discussion and question-answer session.
