Wipro Technologies scored a record total of 248 runs and secured an easy victory over S1 Services in the ‘Clash of IT 2009’ inter IT cricket championship held at the Katariya High School cricket ground over the weekend.

S1 Services won the toss and put the opposition to bat. Wipro Technologies put up a mammoth total of 248 runs for the loss of seven wickets in their stipulated 25 overs. Kanish Singh and Anand Desai took the bowling attack to the cleaners with their knocks of 72 and 71 runs respectively. Mahesh Yerwadekar bowled well for services picking up three wickets for 44 runs. In reply, Services managed to score only 123 runs before being bowled out.
