He added, “The money invested by people throughout the country in stocks flows in to Mumbai, which also houses financial institutions like the RBI and SEBI. Goods manufactured in other states are routed for export through the Mumbai port. Being the commercial capital, Mumbai belongs to everyone.”
Asked about the JD(U) position on reservations for women in the wake of a renewed BJP campaign on the issue, Yadav said: “Our stand is clear, we want quota in proportion to population of Dalits and OBCs within quota.”
