IPL probe: CPM seeks inquiry into HPCA deals

With investigations going on into the IPL transactions by central agencies,the Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPM) has demanded probe into dealings concerning the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA). The party has sought immediate sealing of all records of the HPCA,saying a conspiracy may be hatched to burn them. In a statement released on Sunday,member secretary Tikender Panwar said a probe should to done to see what caused the state government to dole out funds to the association to hold commercial cricket matches. “This money needs to come back to the state exchequer,” he said.
