Iran and world powers attempting to resolve a dispute over Tehran’s nuclear programme will start talks in early October, state-run Press TV said on Monday.
Iran’s ISNA news agency said European Union foreign policy chief Javier Solana and Iranian chief nuclear negotiator Saeed Jalili had agreed to meet on October 1.
“Javier Solana and Saeed Jalili agreed in a telephone conversation... to meet each other on October 1,” ISNA said. “Both sides have agreed on holding a meeting between representatives of (the six major powers),” it said.
