  • “He (Guha) is a good friend of mine. We played in Goa together (Guha was with Salgaocar, while Ahmed played for Dempo). This complaint has not been intimated to me officially, but it comes as a surprise. Now I think I should have also filed a complaint. How could he (Delhi coach Tarun Roy) come out onto the ground while the match was on. If the referee had a problem with my behaviour, he would’ve told the match commissioner. All he did was show me a yellow card. I will be speaking to the officials about this,” he adds.

The coach of the Jammu and Kashmir team, Abdul Majeed, stands by his player. “The ball was the target and not the ‘keeper. He did not do it on purpose. I was also present on the spot and I didn’t see Ishfaq threatening anybody,” says Majeed.

The AIFF has reverted the complaint back to the match commissioner.
