Granting additional time to CBI for probing the 2004 Ishrat Jehan fake encounter case, the Gujarat High Court on Friday said it would now monitor the probe. The court asked the agency to submit a progress report by March 15. A Division Bench observed that the progress in the case was only "to the extent of 30-40 per cent".
