After opening the first Just Cavalli store in India at DLF Emporio, Delhi, in August, Italian designer Roberto Cavalli is set to come to the Capital this week. He will be here to launch a cafe, next to the store, called 'Cavalli Caffe'. The 72-year-old designer, known for dressing up celebs from all over the world, will be accompanied by his daughter Christiana. The two will be in Delhi on December 7 and 8. A Just Cavalli store and the Cavalli Caffe will also be launched in Mumbai next year.
Flash of the fortnight
Shruti Haasan
This is the first time Shruti Haasan is in our fortnightly, best-dressed slot. We've always been curious about the singer-actor-composer's style, and her recent appearance at the Asia Visions award in Dubai held our gaze. Dressed in a flaming red gown by designers Rahul Khanna and Rohit Gandhi, Haasan looked elegant. Her hair was neatly held up in a top knot and it drew attention to her face. She kept her jewellery (by Curio Cottage, Mumbai, as she tweeted herself) minimal with kundan earrings and a bangle in one arm. The asymmetrical hemline looked good on her, and here's hoping that she continues to charm the red carpets.
