Raveena Tandon puts on her dancing shoes to sizzle in an item number in Bbuddah... Hoga Terra Baap.

The item queen of the 90s,Raveena Tandon is all set to return to the silver screen with an item dance in her upcoming film Bbuddah… Hoga Terra Baap.

Titled as Chandigarh ki star,the song will have Raveena as a self-obsessed girl,who feels that she is the queen of Chandigarh and all the guys from the town are crazy about her. She looks like a diva and carries her attitude on her sleeves. She wears a lot of make-up and is draped in a lot of shimmery outfits,even her belts and shoes are very jazzy. The song is an introduction to her character and was shot within a day.

The entire dance number was earlier planned to be a duet between Abhishek Bachchan and Raveena,but due to the clash of the dates between the two,it was filmed only on her,confirmed the actress. However,Abhishek makes a cameo in a song with his dad in the same film.

In Bbuddah,Amitabh Bachchan plays a cool gangster and Raveena essays the role of a mother who constantly yells at her daughter to stay away from him. But actually she is the one who is in love with him. In fact,she is so obsessed with him that she keeps on dreaming about him in different avatars.

This is not the first time that Raveena will be seen romancing Big B. The duo has earlier worked together in films like Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Aks. But the actress confesses that her equation with the superstar changed with every film. She says,My equation with Mr. Bachchan never remained constant,like when I was doing Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,which was a comedy,I was a complete brat on the sets. There was no tension involved. But in Aks,I had a lot of intense and strong scenes with him. So in order to feel comfortable and maintain the balance,I remained serious on the sets. I used to stay away from him and would usually curl up with a book in a corner. Even he found my nature weird,but I had to control my emotions as I would goof-up while delivering my dialogues. But the actress reiterates that since she is playing a loud-mouth character in Bbuddah,she would talk non-stop on the sets and behave like a brat!

Though today the mother of two is upbeat about her item number and her role in the film,initially she was not too keen to do the movie. In fact,filmmakers Puri Jagannadh,Ram Gopal Varma and David Dhawan had to convince her to take up the role. The trio believed that she was best suited for it. But more than their persuasion,it was Big Bs presence in the main lead that propelled her to accept the project. She confirms,When I came to know that Mr. Bachchan is in the lead,I was more than excited to be a part of this film. I thought even if I have five scenes with him,it will be a record for me as this is going to be my fourth movie with him.

Before Bbuddah,the actress did a couple of TV shows. She also gave an award-winning performance in a Bengali film Laboratory that was based on Rabindranath Tagores story. Raveena also shot for a Hindi film Aap Ke Liye Hum with Jaya Bachchan. But the project was shelved due to some reason. However,letting bygones be bygones,the Mast mast actress is now all set to give the reigning item girls a run for their money.
