AIADMK today said it was surprised by the projected ‘landslide victory’ for it in Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.

AIADMK Organising Secretary S Semmalai said that the results were ‘beyond our expectations’.

It is a positive vote for us and a negative vote for the DMK Government,” he said as the AIADMK appeared set for a clean sweep leading in over 170 seats in the 234-member Assembly.
