Weeks of hard work finally paid off as Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij won the television reality dance show Nach Baliye 5. Jay Bhanushali who gained immense popularity while hosting Dance India Dance and Mahhi have been the most consistent performers on the show and the judges too said they were the most deserving for the prestigious dance trophy. The superrr se uperrrr jodi walked away with the Nach trophy and Rs 50 lakh prize money,with which they plan to settle their home loan as they revealed in an episode earlier. Nach Baliye 5 judges - Shilpa Shetty,Terrence Lewis and Sajid Khan announced that the couple got nearly 50 lakh votes in the last episode. Shilpa Shetty also gave a scintillating performance on Nach Baliye 5 finale along with Terence Lewis and Sajid Khan to her hit songs. The show began Dec 29,2012 with 11 couples who are popular TV actors was hosted by Karan Wahi and Gautam Rode. The other finalists which included Ravi Dubey of Saas Bina Sasural fame and his fiance Sargun Mehta from Kya Hua Tera Vada came second; 'Bhabho' Neelu Vaghela from Diya aur Baati Hum and her husband Arvind Kumar came third; and Housewife Hai Sab Jaanti Hai fame Suhasi and Jaisheel Dhami stood fourth.
