J&K to put thrust on new tourist destinations

The state government is making efforts to develop new tourism destinations to promote cultural heritage.

Jammu and Kashmir government is making efforts for developing tourism destinations with the thrust on new destinations to promote cultural heritage in Jammu and Kashmir,Minister for Tourism and Cultural Nawang Rigzin Jora has said.

“All efforts are being taken for developing tourism destinations”,he said adding the thrust is on new destinations to promote cultural heritage of the state,

Jora said while addressing the inaugural function of international conference on ‘sustainable destination excellence innovations in alternative tourism organized by school of Hospitality Tourism Management,University of Jammu.
