    Depp has expressed his desire to play the character of Riddler in Batman.

    Hollywood superstar Johhny Depp has expressed his desire to play the character of Riddler, the puzzle hurling villain in the third installment of Batman.

    The 'Pirates of the Carribean' actor said that he found the character interesting and will not let go of a chance to play the quirky villain, reported Ace Showbiz.

    "If the opportunity came, I'd definitely juggle it. I always liked the Riddler," said the 46-year-old actor adding that he was a fan of Frank Gorshin, the actor who played the baddie in the 60s-era TV show.

    "I always loved Frank Gorshin. Frank Gorshin was brilliant. I always thought he was a great actor," added Depp.

    The actor is known for playing a repertoire of eccentric characters, including his latest outing as the Mad Hatter in Tim Burton's 'Alice in Wonderland'.
