John Kerry will arrive in New Delhi,his first visit to India since being appointed US Secretary of State early this year,for the fourth Indo-US Strategic Dialogue on June 24.
The previous strategic dialogue was held in Washington in June last year and covered a range of issues including trade,counter-terrorism,health,education,clean energy,and science and technology.
Meanwhile,Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Wendy Sherman,who is on a two-day visit to India,Friday met National Security Adviser Shivshankar Menon and discussed preparations for the strategic dialogue.
Sherman later said Kerry is very much looking forward to his visit to India.
