Musician John Mayer has shrugged off rumours of a reunion with actress Jennifer Aniston as the singer is reportedly dating actress Rashida Jones.

The 32-year-old hitmaker was spotted having dinner with the daughter of musician Quincy Jones in a secluded area at the Chateau Marmont, HollywoodScoop reported.

"John took the guitar from someone who was performing at the Chateau and performed an impromptu performance for Rashida... The crowd went wild when he performed his new song," a source said.

The singer also dedicated his hit number 'Your Body Is A Wonderland' during the date, the track which he had wrote for ex-girlfriend Jennifer Love Hewitt.

Earlier Mayer was reported to have rekindled his romance with Hollywood star Aniston. The claim, however, was put to rest by the actress' representative.

"There is no truth to mounting reports that Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer have rekindled their love relationship," said Aniston's representative.
