Johnny Depp has reportedly been chosen to play the Wizard of Oz. The 47-year-old is lined up for the lead role in upcoming movie Oz,The Great And Powerful,a movie about the wizards early years. Depp will replace Robert Downey Junior,45,who had been chosen before him. Johnny is in pole position to play the Wizard. Hes a huge fan of the original Wizard Of Oz film so it will be a dream role for him to finally play, the Daily Express quoted a close pal as saying.
