Justice Soumitra Sen gets time till December 9 to reply

Rajya Sabha Secretary General V K Agnihotri has written a letter to Justice Soumitra Sen,asking him to file a reply on the findings of the inquiry committee report — handed over to him earlier — by December 9. The letter was sent on the instruction of Rajya Sabha Chairman Hamid Ansari and was received by Justice Sen on Friday.

The report of the inquiry committee was placed in the House on November 10. An official of the Rajya Sabha handed over the report to Justice Sen on November 12 in Kolkata. Following this,Justice Sen had sought one month’s time,in a letter to Ansari,for filing the reply on the report.
