Karnataka offers 1,000 acres for Nano

    Karnataka has offered the Tata's land for Nano factory.

    Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee, while referring to the rehabilitation package for affected farmers, had urged them to collect their compensation cheques by September 22.

    ''Once they receive the payment, the problem will be solved, peace will return and a conducive atmosphere will be created for normal functioning of the Tata Motors Nano small car plant,'' he had said.

    Irresponsible Mamata !!By: Sharad C. Misra | 19-Sep-2008 Reply | Forward TATA would be well advised to wind up their Nano project in Singur and shift to Karnataka or Uttarakhand. That would be the best way to punish Mamata Bannerjee whose sole aim is to become the CHief Minister of WEst Bengal with the support of the Congress party and is least bothered about industrialisation of her State.
