These are some of the advice that Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi is learnt to have offered to ministerial colleagues of his Karnataka counterpart B S Yeddyurappa during a recent three-day training session at Suttur, a temple town near Mysore.

Apparently floored by these pearls of wisdom, the Karnataka BJP has decided to have such brainstorming sessions every six months, confirmed state BJP spokesman C T Ravi. He said it was a bit too early to look for any results. “It will take at least two months for the result to show,” he said.

The ministers have already been asked to show effective performance in a time-bound manner because of high expectations of the people.
