Veteran Congress leader and former Kerala chief minister K Karunakaran,hospitalised in Thiruvananthapuram for fever,was today put on a ventilator after his condition became "slightly worrisome". "The condition of the 93-year-old leader was slightly worrisome and he has been given ventilator support since this afternoon," a doctor at the Aananthapuri Hospital said. Karunakaran had been diagnosed with chest and urinary infection,hospital sources said. He was admitted to the hospital on Saturday with fever and uneasiness following a variation in his temperature.
