Kasab's plea for newspapers rejected by court

Asked whether the government had decided the amount of fees to be paid to him, Kazmi said the court had appointed him and also recommended fees. "Let the government decide and then I shall decide about acceptance or non-acceptance of fees. It would be premature to say anything at this stage". Kazmi said he was given 'Z' security and added that this was the first time he had been provided with security.

Earlier, too he had defended accused allegedly involved in terror cases but defence advocates had never been given security. To a question how he felt defending Kasab and whether this had made any difference to him, the lawyer said "this case is very sensitive and there is a lot of media xposure. The entire world was watching this case. There is a ot of work pressure."

Previous revelationsBy: Surendran P. | 28-Apr-2009 Reply | Forward It is important to try Kasab to bring to book the behind the curtain villians.Till then we have to be patient. The blood thirst sharks might escape if Kasab is eliminated before revelation of maximum information. Those are more valuable than his life.
Mr. true believer what books have you read??By: Seema Zafar | 27-Apr-2009 Reply | Forward Terrorists do not represent any religion or book. If what Jas has said is right, then, I wonder what books did Godsey read?? What books did 1984 rioters read?? what ideology/religion did they follow?? Did perpetrators of Gujrat riots read any book?? or What was their religion? What religion did the demolishers of Babri Masjid follow?? No religion teaches killing of innocent human beings. All religious books are great. That includes Holy Quran, Holy Bible, Guru-Granth Sahab and of course Geeta. No one knows what will happen after death, no point in insulting a religion because the world is infested with bad guys.
KasabBy: Awais Siddiqui | 27-Apr-2009 Reply | Forward I totally agree with your comments. People jump to conclusion when it comes to a certain religion. No religion teaches terrorism. If they think Holy Quran teaches that then they better read it. I challenge them to show a single verse which talks about killing anyone unprovoked.Regards
What was he reading before? By: Rajaram Venkataramani | 27-Apr-2009 Reply | Forward It is not as important to hang Kasab immediately as it is to understand his belief system that has inspired his terrorist act. This may need time from neuro-scientists, psychologists and of course theologians. If he believes that he is going back to allah, he will think he is a jihadi and will not suffer remorse. It is important to show him that he is a moral failure and acted on false beliefs.
Execute KasabBy: Radha Ramakrishnan | 26-Apr-2009 Reply | Forward Why are we even trying a col-blooded murderer? He would have most likely been killed too, but God saved him for us to prosecute. Why are taxpayers money being spent? Just finish the entire episode. Execute him.
Entertain Kasab before he gets entertained by promised Heavenly HoorsBy: Jas | 26-Apr-2009 Reply | Forward Kasab deserve to read some contemprary books before he meet his maker, hopefully soon. So far the guy has been reading the wrong book, 'The Ultimate Terrorist Manual' written by the brain- dead people of past and followed by absolute idiots who like to call themselves the true believers.
