Chandigarh:BSP MP Narender Kashyap on Saturday directed the city unit of the party to gear up for the Lok Sabha elections and work hard to win the Chandigarh seat and strengthen the party. Haffiz Anwar-ul-Haq, the convenor stated that Kashyap would soon come to the city to announce the name of the BSP candidate for the election.
Blood donation camp by Berkeley group
Chandigarh:A voluntary blood donation camp was organized at Berkeley's Maruti Outlet on Saturday by the Berkeley group to celebrate its III donation day. More than 250 company officials participated and a large number of customers and associates also donated blood. The occasion was the 74th birthday of the founder Chaman Lal Dahuja in whose memory the day is celebrated every year.
BJP District Election incharges appointed
Chandigarh:State Election Incharge of BJP on Saturday appointed District Election incharges for the elections of the party. Arun Sood has been made incharge of district 1, Asha Jaswal for district 2, Prem Kaushik for district 3, Chandershekhar for district 4 and Shakti Prakash Devshali for district 5.
