Katrina’s item number to include Sanjay Dutt and Hrithik Roshan

“Katrina Kaif is doing a full on item song in ‘Agneepath’. It’s a swinging number called Chikni Chameli…. and we shoot it in a week,” producer Karan Johar wrote on Twitter last week. Equally excited is debutant director Karan Malhotra who says that in keeping with the look of the film the song is not a club number,but will have a rustic ambience. Sanjay Dutt and Hrithik Roshan who play pivotal roles in the film will retain their own rural small town looks according to their characters in the song,while Katrina Kaif will sizzle as a beautiful belle. “The item song is part of the film’s story line and has not been specially added. Ganesh Acharya will choreograph the track which will be shot over a week in Mumbai’s Film City this week,” said Malhotra refusing to divulge any more.

Earlier,Katrina did an item song for Farah Khan’s ‘Tees Maar Khan’ and another special song for Salman Khan’s ‘Bodyguard’.

The film is a remake of the original ‘Agneepath’ which released in 1990,and also stars Priyanka Chopra and Rishi Kapoor. It releases on January 26 next year.
