It seems singer Katy Perry has decided to play her beau Russell Brand at his own game after the comedian was spotted taking two ladies back to his pad.

The US singer, who is said to be dating Brand, was spotted enjoying a lunch date with a mystery man at the famous L'Avenue restaurant in Paris, Dailymail online reported.

It comes after notorious casanova, Brand, 32, was spotted taking two young female friends back to his London home on Monday.

Perry and Brand are believed to have hooked up after weeks of phone flirting. The comedian then sent the 24-year-old singer a poem he had written and in response she sent him a photo of her cleavage sporting the word poem.

A reportedly delighted Brand then invited Perry to join him in Thailand. While the singer declined to name who she was spending her holiday with, she hinted of Brand on her Twitter micro-blogging page.

"After a week in magical Thailand I'm ready to face the real world again. Been schooled on Morrissey, Oscar Wilde & Peter Sellers... inspired," Perry wrote.

Brand is well known for his love of the three men and has even named his cat after Morrissey.

Perry and Brand have already confessed there in love in public.
