Katy Perry to lend voice to ‘The Smurfs’

Katy is set to lend her voice to the movie adaptation of 'The Smurfs'.

Singer Katy Perry is set to lend her voice to the movie adaptation of classic kids” show The Smurfs.

The I Kissed A Girl hitmaker will feature as Smurfette,the only female among the group,in Smurfs: The Movie,the Daily Star reported.

The star will share the screen with How I Met Your Mother star Neil Patrick Harris,Alan Cumming and George Lopez,according to Variety.com.

Scooby-Doo filmmaker Raja Gosnell will helm the project,the shooting for which is expected to kick start in April.
