Kerala won the gold medal for the best state pavilion at the India International Trade Fair, making it the state’s 12th consecutive medal at the fair.

“My team has been designing and executing the pavilion for the last seven years. We have won a medal every time. I won gold in the first two years, and then a silver medal. I won gold again twice, followed by another silver medal last year. This is my seventh year,” said Jinan, who brought along braided coconut palm leaves from Kerala this year because it was the only required item not available in Delhi.
