Keshkal ,Simriya bypolls on Feb 4

    The bypolls to the Assembly constituencies of Keshkal in Chhattisgarh and Simriya in Jharkhand would be held on February 4. The Election notification will be issued on January 10 and the last date for filing nominations is January 17. Nominations can be withdrawn till January 21 and counting of votes will be done on February 7. With the announcement of schedule, the Model Code of Conduct has come into force with immediate effect in the districts in which the whole or any part of the constituencies fall.
