Kingfisher Airlines, in a mail to its employees, has announced to resume operations from October 26, saying that most pilots and engineers have accepted its offer to pay three months' salary by December.
The airline's CEO Sanjay Aggarwal, in an email to employees, wrote, "I am pleased to share that most of our fellow pilots and engineering team members have accepted our proposal and will be resuming duty on October 26, 2012." However, engineers and pilots claim that only a small section of employees have accepted the offer and it will not be possible for the airline to restart operations only with them. "Employees from Delhi, Bangalore and Chennai have not accepted any such offer," said an employee.
