On November 28, Kumar, the nephew of ex-MLA Ramfal Jalana, was challaned by the UT police for having a beacon light installed atop his car without a permission slip. He was identified by Mansa police and was later arrested on November 29 after the police laid a trap in the Traffic Lines office, Sector 29.
