Kirron Kher act revs up Dadumajra protestors

“Municipal Corporation has failed miserably in handling the affairs of the garbage management and it is evident from the pervasive smell in the area” said Kher who also happens to be a member of BJP’s National Executive Body.

Extending her support to the area residents,she said that if the authorities do not come up with any solution to the “stinking problem”,she will not refrain from joining the ongoing hunger strike.

Kirron said,“I am shocked that an internationally renowned city like Chandigarh,is facing problems of cleanliness and hygiene.”

“I am the daughter of this city and it pains me to see it in this condition. I used to visit here every fortnight and during my past few visits,I have come to know of the garbage issue,” she added.

Alleging hat the ruling Congress party’s garbage processing plant project is a complete flop,she said that this plant neither did any good to the city nor to the residents of Dadumajra who were promised employment by MC authorities when it was set up.

She also announced that if need be,she would be here for the ensuing MC elections.
