MAYA KODNANIBy: harun | 05-Apr-2009 Reply | Forward whatever happened in godhra and thereafter is a blot on humanity.we may have politicians accused of embezzlement, kidnapping, dacoity, rape and cheating, but to have educated professional women who aided and encouraged a mob to attack and rape other fellow humans is alarming to say the least.its the secular court and the honble judge who has restored faith among the victims that there cries for justice and faith in the judiciary that stands vindicated.one must not forget the role of the counsel for the accused and social activist teesta setalvaad whose tireless pursuit for getting justice for the victims of the riots.it is a fact never the less that more than 250 people who are accused of godhra are behind bars and continue for over 7 years.why must it not be applicable to maya ben whose cell phone records so clearly prove that she had lied about her absence in naroda patiya at the time of the massacare.we all wish that justice prevails.god bless our country.
