    One individual who in her own humble way kept the flame of Sino-Indian friendship alive is the 91-year-old widow of Dr Kotnis. So deep is the love that Guo Qinglan has for India, that she visited India five times. She couldn’t come during Hu Jintao’s recent visit because of ill-health, but Hu Jintao made good the loss by meeting the Kotnis sisters.
