Satrajit Lahiri has been picked fielding coach of the Under-16 Indian team for the coming season.
The 41-year-old umpire-turned-coach will take charge of the Indian colts at the upcoming probables camp in Bangalore slated to get underway on July 14.
While Lahiri is fielding coach, B Arun is the colts’ bowling coach and Dinesh Ranawate is the batting specialist.
Lahiri is an NCA-approved Level C coach and is also a qualified top-grade umpire, having dabbled with cricket video analysis as well.
Meanwhile, the CAB has picked Wriddhiman Saha as Best Cricketer of the Year.
