Lalu,Mulayam must name their PM candidate: JD(U)

Terming the coming together of RJD supremo Lalu Prasad,LJP Chief Ram Vilas Paswan and SP President Mulayam Singh Yadav as “an opportunistic one”,the JD(U) asked them to name the prime ministerial candidate of their pre-poll “secular alliance” on Wednesday.

“UPA is bickering lot… and the trio has formed a new alliance out of UPA…I ask them to announce their leader or prime ministerial candidate,” state Food and Civil Supplies Minister and Chairman of JD(U) Election Campaign Committee,Narendra Singh,told reporters in Patna.

It was an opportunistic alliance and the people must be careful of these leaders,he charged. Meanwhile,Awadh Bihari Singh,former minister and a four-time Congress MLA from Mahgama in Godda district,and Haji Mohammed Taiyyab,General Secretary of All India Inqalabi Federation,joined the JD(U) in the presence of Singh and Ali Anwar,party’s Rajya Sabha MP.
