Areva,who is a collaborator in Jaitapur project,had sent an email asking for contact numbers of local Congress leaders who were supporting the project,so that the company officials could meet them when they visit India to sign contracts for two reactors. Vinod Ghosalkar (Sena) asked the Speaker to expunge the allegations made by Rane earlier. But Rane countered that he would submit evidence at the appropriate time. "Tomorrow they would (even) ask for proof of the Nira Radia tapes in which Uddhav Thackeray's name figures," he said. Speaker Dilip Walse-Patil said he would go through the record of proceedings and expunge the remarks if required.
